The results of the lifecycle analysis carried out by the independent research institute PréConsultants in 2008 show that a hand-dry using the Vendor towel cassette has a lower impact on the environment than a hand-dry using (washable) cotton towel rolls. Taking these results in combination with those of the research carried out by the German Öko Institute in 2006, we can state with confidence that the Vendor hand-drying system, in comparison to folded paper hand towels and cotton towel rolls, is one of the most environmentallty friendly and sustainable solutions currently available.

The European Ecolabel is the European Union’s mark of environmental quality for non-food products and services. The Ecolabel criteria relate to the entire lifecycle of a product or service, from raw materials and energy consumption to harmful by-products and waste.
