2010
In the beginning of this year the international growth has been given shape by the opening of two new branches: one in France (Lesquin) and one in Germany (Ratingen). The new IQ towel cabinet is also introduced. This new generation profits from the success of the existing generation and the unique way of hand drying.
2009
The Scandinavian environmental label “Nordic Swan” is granted to the Vendor towel cassettes. The Vendor toilet paper is also given an extra environmental acknowledgement in the form of the European Ecolabel (also known as Ecoflower).
In course with the planned (international) growth Clean Seat Holland (based in Delft) is taken over by Vendor. Clean Seat Holland is active in toilet (seat) hygiene in the business to business and consumer market
2008
Vendor toilet paper is awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel. Vendor doubles her sales organisation in Belgium, and also starts up in Luxemburg. At the same time Vendor makes a substantial investment in her future with the introduction of a new cassette production line and her own purpose-built service vehicles.
2007
Vendor introduces a unique innovation in hand-drying: the 100% cotton paper towel cassette with mesh reinforcement. Thanks to the takeover of Saneco Hygiene BV, Vendor acquires a leading position in air freshener variations, and the unique own-design Vendor sanitary disposal bin with non-touch wall clasp also sees the light of day. In combination with the floor mats, these form the basis of the Vendor Hygiene Service. The company’s ongoing orientation to quality is rewarded with ISO 9001 certification.
2006
Vendor starts up the floor mat service in the Netherlands. ‘Metal’, ‘Colours’ and ‘Exclusive’ are added to the existing dispenser lines.
2005
Vendor acquires the exclusive right to supply Peter Greven (a market leader in Germany) industrial handcleansers in the Benelux. Together with the sturdy industry dispenser line and a specially developed (blue) industrial paper towel cassette, these form the basis for the ‘Vendor Industry’ line.
Vendor is sold to Egeria Investments, whose Evergreen structure seals a successful long-term joint venture with Egeria.
2004
Vendor introduces the second generation of towel cabinets in which a combination of standard cassette and midi-cassette further optimises availability. The assortment is broadened by a new digital air freshener with 4 seasonal fragrances (all developed by Vendor) and a new luxury toilet paper.
2003
Vendor doubles her sales organisation in the Netherlands, and sets up a separate sales group for dealers and professional cleaning services.
2002
Vendor launches the renewed ‘Tradition’ and ‘Vision’ lines within the unique Vendor toilet hygiene concept.
2000
Vendor becomes the property of Egeria, and is able to strengthen her long term position as an independent toilet hygiene specialist in both the Benelux and the export markets with the support of this strong financial partner.
1999
Vendor combines all her activities in the Netherlands in a new, modern building in Tilburg.
1998
Vendor introduces the completely new 'Vision’ product line, developed entirely by herself, which combines the familiar functionality with a revolutionary design.
1996
Following a management buy-out by a consortium led by CVC Capital Partners and Gilde Buyout Fund, Vendor becomes an independent toilet hygiene company once again.
1987
The Vendor shares are transferred to an English service group. Vendor successfully introduces the well-known door air freshener.
1986
Vendor celebrates her 25th anniversary by successfully selling the unique 1st generation Vendor towel cabinets, developed entirely by herself, with cassettes that can be topped up whenever is convenient.
1983
Vendor starts laminating paper and introduces her own soap dispenser. Development of the unique Vendor hand-drying machine gets under way.
1980
Vendor starts her own production company for the processing of toilet paper in Tilburg. The chosen toilet hygiene specialisation enjoys increasing commercial success.
1978
Vendor sells her hotel and project interior activities, leaving only the ‘Toilet Hygiene Specialist’.
1977
Vendor NV Belgium is founded on 1 November. A company specialising in toilet hygiene products is thereby launched in Belgium.
1973
Vendor acquires exclusive rights to sell unique toilet roll dispensers and the accompanying compact rolls with cap in Europe. Sales of roller towel cabinets get under way.
1961
Vendor is founded in Heemstede with the object of selling complete hotel and catering facilities. In the same year Vendor becomes one of the first companies in Europe to bring an automatic soap dispenser with exchangeable flask refills onto the market.
